  • This procedure is different from the one in the Bentley manual, another variant to this procedure is to use  a welder

  • READ THE MANUAL FIRST!

  • You will need a FLAT surface to complete this repair for your safety.

  • READ ALL OF  THIS PROCEDURE SEVERAL TIMES SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND IT.  DO NOT PERFORM THE PROCEDURE OUT OF ORDER.  THIS WILL RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.

TOOLS NEEDED:

  1. Floor jack

  2. Hammer; Ballpien or Sledge

  3. 3/8 drive Ratchet

  4. 3/8 drive Extensions

  5. Impact driver and *large Phillips tip*

  6. Tape measure

  7. Wood board  2"x4" 4 feet long

Parts needed:

  1. None

Procedure for realignment of door

  1. Remove caps from the door hinges.

  2. Loosen the 3 bolts on top and the 3 bolts on the bottom using the Impact Driver.

  3. Be sure to hold enough pressure or you will strip out the head of the bolt

  4. Place the floor jack under the door along with a wooden board.

  5. Measure the door as shown

  6. Slowly and gently jack up on the door.

  7. Re-measure the door.
