FUEL INJECTION?!?!?

Translate this page      using FreeTranslation.com

Fuel Injection was not installed on U.S. 1950 - 1967 VWs. But starting in 1968 (like "TAZ"), the Bosch D-Jetronic systems were installed. The in 1974 L-Jetronic was used on the Type 1,  Type 2 and Type 4. The D and L system were the only ones used by Volkswagen, until 1977 with the introduction of the Rabbit.  So the D and L systems were the only ones on AIR COOLED VW.

The type of fuel injection on VW are Pulsed or more commonly referred to as Electronic Fuel injection or EFI
