Lifting up Your VW: Right Side (Passenger's)

TOOLS NEEDED:

1. Floor Jack (4000 lbs. capacity)

2. 2 jack stands

3. 2 Wheel Chocks

4. Tire iron or "Tire Star"

Procedure for Lifting the right side

1. Remove hub caps on Right side with a screwdriver or tire iron

2. Break loose all lug bolts on tire(s)

3. Chock left side tires. 

4. Place floor jack under the jack hole.    

5. Jack up the vehicle to a height of a comfortable level for you to crawl underneath

6. BEFORE getting under the VW: On the rear place the Jack stands  under the torsion arm bushing retainer as shown in the picture:

7. Remove all lug bolts and place them in the hub cab.

8. Remove the tire from the Brake Drum.
