  • READ ALL OF  THIS PROCEDURE SEVERAL TIMES SO THAT YOU UNDERSTAND IT.  DO NOT PERFORM THE PROCEDURE OUT OF ORDER.  THIS WILL RESULT IN DEATH OR SERIOUS INJURY.

TOOLS NEEDED:

  1.  

Procedure for removal

  1. Take plastic cover off fuse panel

  2. push driver's seat all the way back or remove it all together

  3. Lift Driver's rear of VW using Rear Lifting procedure.

  4. Loosen clutch cable.

  5. Remove both 14 mm bolts

  6. Turn master cylinder push rod all the way in; if this does not work; turn it all the way out.

  7. Disconnect accelerator cable

  8. Disconnect clutch cable

  9. Remove the pedal cluster.
